Roitor CPA Professional Corporation

From first call to year-end — what working with Roitor looks like

We've kept the process intentionally simple. Four steps, no surprises, no hidden hourly clock starting the moment you call us.

Step 1 — Free 30-minute consultation

We start with a no-pressure video or phone call. You walk us through where your business is today —
books, tax, software, pain points. We tell you straight whether Roitor is the right fit and which package
matches your situation. If it’s not a fit, we’ll point you somewhere it is.

Step 2 — Engagement letter and onboarding

If we’re moving forward, we send you a CPA Ontario-compliant engagement letter electronically. Once
it’s signed, we set you up in our secure client portal, request the documents we need, and connect to
your accounting software. Most clients are fully onboarded within a week. The engagement letter sets
out the full scope, deliverables, fees, and limitations — and is the single source of truth for what is and
isn’t included in our work for you.

Step 3 — Monthly or annual rhythm

Day-to-day work happens on a predictable rhythm — monthly bookkeeping close, HST/GST filings on the
schedule CRA expects, payroll runs, and tax instalment reminders. Higher-tier clients get monthly
management reports and quarterly or semi-annual planning sessions baked in.

Step 4 — Year-end deliverables and advisory check-ins

At year-end we close the books, prepare your CSRS 4200 compiled financial statements (for
incorporated clients), file your T2 or T1, and walk you through the results. For Expansion and Enterprise
clients, year-end becomes a planning session for the year ahead — not just a backwards-looking
exercise.

What you won't get

  • Surprise hourly bills you didn’t sign up for.
  • Handoffs to junior staff you’ve never met.
  • Tax “strategies” that promise guaranteed dollar savings — we’ll give you honest expectations, not
    magic.
  • A black-box file that lives on your accountant’s hard drive. Your books are yours, in cloud software
    you own.
