How much does Roitor CPA cost?
Roitor works on flat monthly packages — Foundation, Growth, Expansion, and Enterprise — starting from sole proprietors and scaling up to fractional-CFO-level engagements. Final pricing depends on your transaction volume and complexity, and we scope it on a free 30-minute consultation. There are no surprise hourly bills.
What's included in each package?
Each package lists exactly what's covered (bookkeeping, payroll, HST/GST, T1, T2, CSRS 4200 compilations, advisory). See the Pricing page for the full breakdown. If you need something outside your package, we quote it in advance — never after the fact
Can I switch from my current accountant mid-year?
Yes, and most of our clients do exactly that. We handle the file transfer with your previous accountant directly, rebuild the year-to-date numbers in your software, and pick up from where you left off. We'll tell you up front if there's any catch-up work that needs to happen first.
What if I get a CRA review or audit letter?
Send it to us. We respond on your behalf, gather what CRA is asking for, and walk you through what to expect. Audit support scope depends on your package — higher tiers include CRA audit support up to the scope set out in your engagement letter; lower tiers cover routine review correspondence. We’ll be clear about the line before any extra work
How fast do you respond?
Standard response time is within 48 business hours by email or portal message. Higher-tier clients (Expansion and Enterprise) get priority response and direct phone access to Varun.
Where are you based?
Roitor CPA is headquartered in Brampton, Ontario. Our office is at 5 Montpelier Street, Unit #301, Brampton, ON L6Y 6H4. We meet clients in-person across the GTA by appointment, and we serve clients across Canada virtually.
How does virtual onboarding work?
We do an introductory video call, send you an engagement letter electronically, set you up in our secure client portal, and connect to your cloud accounting software with read access. Most clients are fully onboarded within a week — you don't have to come into the office unless you want to.
What software do you use?
We work in QuickBooks Online (we're a ProAdvisor), Xero, Wagepoint, Dext, Plooto, TaxCycle, ProFile, and Google Workspace. If you're already on these tools, we plug in. If not, we'll recommend the right stack for your business.
How do you protect my data?
All document exchange happens inside an encrypted client portal — never email attachments. MFA is required on every system we use. We're CPA Ontario regulated and operate a PIPEDA-compliant workflow. See our Security page for the full picture.
What’s included in a year-end engagement with Roitor?
A standard year-end engagement covers the books-close review, CSRS 4200 compiled financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Statement of Cash Flows where applicable), the Practitioner’s Compilation Report signed by a CPA, GIFI mapping that flows into your T2 corporate return, the T2 filing itself with CRA, and a year-end planning conversation that flags anything worth acting on before the next fiscal year. Scope is confirmed in writing before work begins — no surprises.
